Problem gambling often is defined by whether harm is experienced by the gambler or others rather...
However, I can say I've always been a Jersey Shore guy, and not the MTV version, the REAL thing... Gonna be doing a lot of Sandy related stuff over the weekend and a GA meeting sprinkled in here and there, but mostly, very glad that I am GF. A life long friend is coming down that was a frequent trigger to go, but that was when I was a not now, but maybe later gambler- now I'm a I DON'T gamble kind of guy and, frankly, anxious to see if he goes there because I desperately wan't to say that!
Hang tough and keep walking the walk!

Holidays were always triggers for me, but I am grateful to say that this is the 2nd Memorial Day weekend in 20 years, that I will not be donating one red hot cent to the coffins of hell, or to my own coffin for that matter.
I truly hope that everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend free from the grips of their grim reaper gambling voice. Today is a time to remember and reflect on our freedom, and pay homage to those who gave their lives in order to provide us that privilege today. So to all of you, I share this wonderful reflection about freedom written by Robert L. Martin:
"To my brother and sisters in arms: The desire for independence summons the spirit within to break the chains that bind the heart. If your dependency has made you comfortable, and that comfort has made you complacent, and that complacency forced you to belittle yourself enough to submit to slavery as the way of life, you will forget that it is an everlasting ailment brought on by your own acquiescence.
If the avenging spirit within you has given you new life, take it into battle with "liberty or death" engraved upon your sword, for the desire for freedom to flourish denies tyranny the chance to rule and bind the spirit. That bondage would suppress the desire within to find God's permission for you to fight for freedom, the resting place of the soul and the cause for that rebellion."
God Bless America, God Bless You, and God Bless our men and woman of the Armed Forces who fought and fight today for the right and privilege of our freedom to make choices.
May they all be wise ones...
Red, white and blue love to all,
