When I was at the peak of my addiction, I would usually think Tuesdays would be the day I would win BIG. I guess I thought the smaller crowds (compared to a Saturday night) would be easier or maybe I had won big before on a Tuesday. Crazy how we make our own rules and predictions. We become mad and insane.

Did you ever connect winning with a special day of the week? Well, guess what, there are NO lucky days. A win means you will eventually lose, so stay out of that personal hell and go to Him.

I am doing okay, trying to set up road block and keep busy.

Thank you. It still is a battle. I still get thoughts, but a strong road block for me was to self - ban. The BEST road block for me was going to Him. Without Him, I couldn't do it.

Thursday and Sunday.... After 10 pm til about 6 am were my days. I still get restless on those days. The only difference is now I wake up rested and without regret on Monday and Friday. Congratulations on being gf for so long. It gives me hope.

Friday because it is payday. Saturday because it is the day after payday. Any day that I had money. Days with certain days...like 17; if it was the 17th then I would expect to win.

It is ritualistic behavior for me or perhaps part of the magical thinking of me as an addicted gambler.

That's great about the 2 years and 2 months GF.

I didn't really connect winning to a certain day but definitely losing and that would be on Mondays. When gambling I'd bet sports and that would be the start of the week. It seemed like most Monday's I would lose $ and already be chasing and trying to finish the week even or trying to win $. I tried to avoid gambling on Mondays altogether and sometimes it would work but I couldn't always fight the urge and would impulse bet and would cost me.

ksgal:: I recall those days. A burst of excitement on those lucky days, only to come crashing down hours later. I hope I can be that light you can see, that it is possible to be GF. You must really want to quit. Can't have one foot in the casino and one foot in your hope. You need to really want to quit.

Those lucky days and lucky times change week by week. If they didn't, no one would play any other day or time.

I do know this: Most of the jackpots I won came at the top or the bottom of an odd numbered hour and in the last half of the month.
