It is ritualistic behavior for me or perhaps part of the magical thinking of me as an addicted gambler.
I didn't really connect winning to a certain day but definitely losing and that would be on Mondays. When gambling I'd bet sports and that would be the start of the week. It seemed like most Monday's I would lose $ and already be chasing and trying to finish the week even or trying to win $. I tried to avoid gambling on Mondays altogether and sometimes it would work but I couldn't always fight the urge and would impulse bet and would cost me.
I do know this: Most of the jackpots I won came at the top or the bottom of an odd numbered hour and in the last half of the month.
