I have signed out of every casino in Arizona. I refuse to let gambling destroy me any further. I refuse to: have sleepness nights, sweating about how to cover my debt/checks I have written to gamble, lies, the sick feeling about how much money I have lost. I really have figured it out: I win, I get excited, I may go home with money, I am so excited to return to win more money, I go to the casino and I lose, I get more money to try to win again, I lose as much money as I can, I walk out of the casino, I feel horrible, a loser. Worried how I am going to come up with the money I just lost. I AM NOW SICK, REALLY SICK. This will never happen to me again. I am done. It took me 15 years of ups and downs to figure this out. I can finally say I am done. I signed out for lifetime in Arizona. I know this is the only way for me to stay away. I am so glad I did it. I gives me such a satisfaction that they will not get anymore money from me ever. I wish the best for everyone on this website and good luck.
In 190 days being Gamble Free. I paid my $9000 debts (There are still bills & debts to take care.. but now it is more manageable). I have $4000 in my account (It has been on negative overdraft mode for the last 4 years I had been hooked up with gambling)
I value every penny I have right now. I enjoy my peace of mind. Life will always have challenges but it is little less complicated without gambling.
Your situation will only get better. Just be patient and hang on to your recovery, and soon you will have your life, everything that gambling has taken away from you.
