Hello everyone i havnt wrote a post in awhile...but figured on the most daylight of the year i would write... since gambling has brought alot of us to some of the darkest places imaginable. this is the first summer in about 18 yrs that i have not walked in the darkness( 147 gf days). gambling has got to be one of the darkest addictions there is....yet they continue to open more and more dark dungeons. i would like to thank all of my great ds friends for helping me see the light. To all the new members...please believe that there is light at the end of this tunnel....it may seem hopeless to stop... but me and most other members never thought we could make it this far neither...keep your head up and keep trying! i wish all my great ds friends and all new members to bask in unlimited rays of sunlight throughtout the year. enjoy the light everyone ! love and best wishes to all! I echo Sglt's sentiments, and WOW, YAHOO, YIPPEE on those 147...make that now 149 GF days!!!! Simply amazing! When I think back to the "dark" days, it astonishes me of just how lost and isolated I had become...but the crappy part about it was that I had no freaking idea I was on the dark side of the moon!!!
Today, yes there IS a light at the end of the tunnel, and lo and behold, without a doubt, I KNOW it is not a train! It because of this wonderful site, and all of the amazing people here, as well as GA that have graced me with a presence of mind to simply work it one day, one minute at a time...and together we are doing it!
Wishing everyone continued success along their journey...I hold such a deep, deep sense of gratitude to each of you for allowing me the opportunity of traveling right beside you. It's been a long and winding road, no doubt, but what comfort I feel knowing we are not alone as we traverse across county, state and country lines!
A big loving shout out to you all....you got me to where I am today...

Great post. Remember as the days begin to shorten now, the light we've brought into our lives by not gambling will always keep our days as bright as they can be!
