I hope this does not get flagged as this is not my intention as all. I am not trying to advertise anything, but just suggest listening, reading, or researching Dave Ramsey. He has taught me A LOT in the last few months on dealing with debt and slowly changing bad habits. There are free online resources and daily pod casts where he answers questions and helps people either rich or down on their luck.

Those of us who are compulsive gamblers can benefit from exploring and using many resources to claw our way out of the financial chaos we have gotten ourselves into. Well, I should say me, I, and not us and we because maybe others do not have the same experience.
So, I have found Dave Ramsey to be very helpful and I would like to take his course. I just never seem to have the money to do so. I have his books and I listen to her radio show. The radio show is available at any time on his website (daveramsey.com) under the archives. I find it very helpful to me.
There are a lot of other sources, too. Debtorsanonymous.org is a good website to explore.
