I am very happy! I have been gamble free since December 15, 2010. It was very odd.. I feel like my gambling is a fulfillment to an empty space.
On December 15, 2010, I bought a 2009 aveo I realized, I needed to make monthly payments on my car and so I decided to make the decision not to go out to the casino.
Sometimes its hard not to go to the casino. I wish to go to the casino really bad sometimes. I have 5 dollars in my pocket and I feel like I could double that or even quadruple that into hundreds. But then reality hits me and I remember casinos are made to get your money, not give you money. Just like any business, they have to make money. So i put my 5 dollars away and go and find something else to do. Usually spend time with my children, or read a book, or clean my house.
Cleaning my house is a never ending chore, it seems like the dishes, laundry and the kids are never clean. ugh Always cleaning something.
I always have something to keep me busy, and I been trying to budget my money better since I have a new job that has less hours.
I don't know if this is the end of my gambling days. I can only take it one day at a time. I will keep you posted though. Even though I don't come on here often, I still read all your posts and it reminds me of what could happen if I continue to gamble. So regardless of what situation you are in at this moment, you are a living testimony to some of us that are struggling with this addiction. Thank you. hugs and blessings.
