What does it mean when it says it is a steps/comment meeting versus when it says nothing?

A step meeting is one where the group focuses on one of the 12 steps of recovery (which should be the 6th step now). If you come into the room, they may override that to focus on welcoming you into the group and helping you into the program, however.
Comment versus no comment is a different sort of thing- when you give your therapy in the meeting, other members can comment or not after you speak, depending upon the type of meeting. Each group does that slightly differently, so I'll defer to your group rules on that. Either way, you will definitely get personal support.
