I just want to say a great big THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who have posted on this site...Although I have only been gamble free for 11 days,I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me...Yesterday was pay day once again and I still have every penny sitting in the bank...I have not had the least desire to go to the casino and its all because of the support and encouragement I have received on here...I live alone and have no one at home to prevent me from running to the casino yet I have absolutely no desire to return to a casino,,,And its all because I was able to see myself in the many posts where you all have poured your hearts out on here...Many of the sad stories on here were told as if it had been my life you were describing...Thank You all so much and my prayers continue for us all to be healed in every area that we need healing.

It's been 9 day's for me. I also are extremely grateful for this site. Just like you I can relate to everyone. When I'm feeling down or have the urge to go gamble I sit down and read the discussions. So far it's working for me. May we stay gambling free and be able to support those in need!

I completely agree. I love coming to this forum and reading everyone's posts. Such a great bunch of welcoming, smart and introspective people.

This site is what got the ball rolling for me to stop the insane trip I was on.
I check in often.
I have even mentioned to a few that I have online friends. Never saying where they are, just that I have them.
The people here know what is happening and how to fix it. I am forever grateful.

I'm LOVING my daily dose of Daily Strength! I look forward each day to the postings,,Some are encouraging and others are heartbreaking,yet I find solace and strength from both,,The sad ones remind me of where I once was and those who report their victories,no matter how large or small,remind me of where I can be each passing day that I remain gamble free,,I joined this site Mar 8,2016 when I decided I wanted to be free from the slot machine chains,,Its been 15 days since my last gambling spree,,I have been on my 4 off days from work and I still have money in my bank acct from my last payday but to date I have had absolutely NO DESIRE to go to the casino and there are 3 of them within 20 mins from me,,,I have spent my days off semi spring cleaning ,watching cheesy Lifetime drama movies and doing Bible study,,,STILL GRATEFUL FOR ALL MY NEW FRIENDS AND YOUR HELP,,,Wishing you all a gamble free happy life!
