Usually on a Friday night I would go to the casino with my girlfriend and then for dinner. For the first little while Friday evenings were a trigger for me. I would crave gambling huge on Fridays. Tonight I am going to spend time with my partner and not feel one bit of resentment toward him for keeping me from the casino. I am grateful for each day I do not gamble. What will you do tonight instead of gamble?
Excellent idea Cherbear--watching the Olympics! I love to watch the figure skaters, downhill skiing, bobsledding...OK...I like all the categories LOL!
Fridays were always a trigger for me too, Rainie, because it's payday. So glad I don't get paid & am broke in the same day anymore...such a good feeling :o)
I'm just going to relax at home on a snowy night & watch the Olympics over hot cocoa. Get some extra sleep.

I know the feeling of Friday night cafes with friends. Mostly always left me, broke and wondering what I was going to do for the rest of the week. Always left me with my mind racing of how I was going to juggle and how was I going to rob peter to pay paul so I could head back out Saturday to recoup my losses. Oh the webs I have weaved! I'm so glad that it has been 4 days GF! I'm also happy that I made it through this Friday night without playing in the devils playground. I'm reminded everytime I read a post that my life is somewhat intertwined with everyone here. Strangers that all have a common goal, an awesome goal to be GF! Thanks for your posts, thanks for eveyones posts as they continue to be both support and inspiration for me to win this battle day by day.

and then get a good nights sleep,
which never ever was the case when gambling.
I liked it late at night when all of the "youngsters" were gone.
