Congratulations!!! Self exclusion has really helped me. It was really odd how the urge diminished once I knew I couldn't go. I won't tell you it gets easy, but at least now you will not give the casino your money.
The scary part for me is facing the problems I was able to ignore while I was gambling. But at least now I am fixing things and no longer ignoring it.
It may not feel like you expected it to feel, but rest assured you have made a big step.
Make sure you star doing something to fill the time that you used to spend gambling.

I have been looking at inspirational quotes this morning and the one that sticks with me is we must do the thing we fear we cannot do. Right now that's not gambling anymore and here we are facing the fear together.
Doing something different can be scary and leave you with a feeling of insecurity but hey,.you did it! You took that step that will lead you closer to a happier life!
