As a newer member to this forum, I haven't posted a lot of details related to my long uphill battle with trying to quit. However, this go round, I am dedicated to making it happen. I have all kinds of "internal controls" in place, but as anyone knows there are ways around them. That is why there is always a need for an audit. Anyway, the last time ( July 2013) I had 3 weeks under my belt, I had to attend a conference in Vegas and I didnt even make it thru the airports. My gambling pattern started over again. Today I was at 26 days when I had to fly thru 2 airports in Nevada to get to Texas. It was a challenge I tell ya. They have machines everywhere around you, but I made it. I can honestly say that out of the dozens of times I have flown thru the Reno and Vegas airports, this is the VERY FIRST TIME I have not donated money to the casino industry. I am feeling proud and excited to be on my way to 30 days.
good for you. I probably would have to walk through with my eyes closed to not see the machines. oh shoot: we could still hear, couldn't we?

you are making a conscience decision and
sticking with it and taking inventory.
We here are always proud and happy for anyone who
can take the steps to recover from this awful addiction
as we've all been there.
