I celebrate ten years today. It can be done. i have two or three practice runs before it took. But once I got to GA and started working a program with my sponsor, I got some traction.

There are many questions to ask yourself in order to make a better plan. What went wrong? What need did you have that your inner gambler thought gambling would soothe? What else have you found that is soothing? What kind of self care do you need to work on? How can you prevent a repeat of the same thing?
You have the tools and the know how, it may take practice.
