I think I've gotten to a point in my life where I learn from conflict instead of running from it. I am still too sensitive to what others think of me though when I should be relying more on what I think of myself. I guess I hated myself for so long that when others gave me praise, it was my source of self-esteem. Relying on what others think of me to give me self-esteem ends up being a problem when someone says something ugly though.
I want to learn to be open to criticism that is kind and constructive. I want to learn to express my thoughts in the middle of a conflict (or not) without feeling afraid or stupid. I think this group is a safe place to learn those things and that is what I take away from what has transpired here lately.

I dont always abide by it... but I do believe if Ya haven't got anything nice to say, then dont say anything at all.
We are all in this together... trying to stop gambling and should be supportive and kind.
