I recently experienced my version of chasing with the $30 scratch ticket in Massachusetts. A slip for me would be to buy 3 of these tickets, because 1 out of 3 are advertised as winners. Well I was 6 tickets in without a winner and my thinking was, the next one must be a winner. Well being 10 tickets in without a winner cost me $300, which is money I can't lose. I did hit on ticket 11 for $50 and I stopped. I lost control and knew that I am powerless to this game. That was yesterday. Today is a day I will not play any gambling game. period. I am going to the gym after work and will do some reading at home. Join me in stopping your addiction.

Those numbers never take into consideration the actual odds of winning anything which are much less than advertised.
It's just another way these entities mislead and take advantage of the public.
Stay strong in resisting the urge to play, all these games just turn the player into a victim.
