to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference. im so sorry for your pain, i have been gamble free for and in recovery for 9 months and i now realize what i did to my family. i stress recovery because it isnt about just not gambling, there is a reason that your husband gambles and its not about the money. most of us have trouble coping with things and run to the casino to escape. example, i would bend over backwards to help or please someone but when it came to me, i didnt care enough about myself to take care of me. i learned through my recovery to set boundaries and take care of me. i cant remember the last time i had an urge. i pray for your family and that you and him can find the guidance and help you deserve. god bless
