I can't consume myself with sadness, because of what I have done with my gambling addition, if I do I am loosing all over again. What I will do is focus on the future and the little things that make me happy while I have been gambling free for one week today;
My daughter ask for money to go out to eat with friends; normally I would have said you have to wait until payday but didnt. I was able to pull money out and give it to her.
Gas tank was on E and I filled it up without hesitation and even got a car wash.
Was able to pay this month bills on time.
Had time to cut coupons and was able to spend $50 for $160 worth of food.
There are no overdrafts on my bank account.
Got with budget counselor, in order to get on track with my budget in order to focus on paying debt.
My piggy bank still has change because I have not taken it to the store to cash in.
these are little things, that I can do here and now, without gambling for a week, what are the possibilities when I get to weeks, months and then years of gambling free.... The possibilities are endless.

My little things:
Not looking in the mirror and feeling like the walking dead.
Having the energy to work out or go for a long walk.
Sleeping at night without waking up in cold sweats worried about money.
Actually making happy plans for the future - camping, hiking....stuff like that.
