That is one of most noticeable things that I don't miss any more. I am 9 months GF. I sometimes wondered if the real life problems occurred because we almost wished them on ourselves. We knew we had spent all our money at the casino and feared that something would happen and sure enough it did. I don't miss the car breakdowns, the extra high electricity bill, the need for food for my family...they don't happen like they did when I was gambling. And when a surprise expense comes up now, it's not stressful, I have the money to handle it/ WTG on your 5 days...and I hope you have a good workout.
I have left the casinos broke so many times wondering if the car would even make it back home. Most of the time I would spend my last penny and be scared to death if ii would make it home. Or who id call. When I was in the casino, I didn't think about how my husband would have gas money for work. To me it seems like after I gambled that's when reality slapped me in the face. Thinking Omg why didn't I fix this or do that. Inevitably something always needed repair after losing when I didn't have the money. Right now im trying to claw my way out of this hole Im in. I know it wont be easy, but it will be worth the peace of mind. Take Care Lisa
