I made Goal #1, which was to not gamble for 90 days. It's been hard but it's the first time in so long that I've been able to "exhale." My head hits the pillow at night and I'm not worried at what I have to deal with when I wake up. I'm not constantly spinning in my head as to how I'm going to get more money so I can hit those slot machines (no pun intended!) By not gambling, I have given myself the gift of FREEDOM. And I deserve to be free. I chose to gamble. I loved gambling. But this.......this is such a better life than the one with gambling in it.

Freedom is a wonderful thing...particularly the peace of mind that allows for you to enjoy all that life can provide for you.
You are absolutely right....you deserve to be free from the stranglehold of this vicious addiction, and you are off to a wonderful start!
