It really helps me to reread my early posts to stay in touch with the pain I was living.
I would suggest that before you get your first paycheck in 6 months that you make a plan about doing something positive that day and having supportive friends around you when you do get paid.
I recently got my federal tax return - If I had not have over 90 days abstinence and made some major lifestyle changes as well as doing different things for fun I would not have been able to resist the craving when the money came in, I would have gone straight to the poker machines.
I am so grateful for DS, my counselor, and my face to face support group for being there for me.
