If someone would give me money to go to the casino, I guess it would depend. Right now, I can say no way. I dont want to jeapordize my gf days. Ive almost made it 2 months. I get a 2 month key ring at g.a. But if you catch me on a bad day (like yesterday) I probably would say no, but with the really strong urge, I cant say for sure. I hate it when the urge is there and wont go away, because then Im at my weakest.

Unfortunately, my job requires me to run a conference soon that will require me to be in a casino hotel for a week straight... i'm ever so slightly terrified, btw... However, i feel i've built up enough toughness to this disease to fight it off and my wife will be with me to help.
The short answer is either you are a compulsive gambler or you're not- it's that simple and that complex. If you feel you're not- the decision is yours, but since you're here, i'm thinking at best you realize you have a problem with gambling. If that's the case, you cannot- repeat CANNOT gamble. Even if you're lucky enough to win that day, the thoughts will bore into your mind and create the vicious cycle that we've all experienced. Sometimes quick, sometimes not so quick- my abstinence lasted about 20 years and when it clicked back, it clicked back with a vengeance and even worse than the first time. Just my 2 cents.
