For me, I had to quit over and over to really get to where I did not want to go back to the insanity. My gambling had gotten to a place where even if I won, it was never enough or I felt I was on a streak and could not or would quit even for the rest of the day. It is only 37 days since my last bet, but I finally feel like I am not fighting with myself any more. That I am wholly and totally committed to staying abstinent from gambling with every fiber of my being.
