what I read recently ..........
" TO PILE IT ON" .........
to pile on the meetings,
the DS site,
the reading about the devestation of addiction,
the making of plans not to gamble,
the keeping busy,
the helping others with addiction.....
just keep "piling it on" and being headstrong in my recovery effort.
I also read recently...
that a relapse needn't be thought of as a RELAPSE,
but as a LAPSE and that the lapse is when we don't continuing
going back.
The lapse can be significant and show us just how hard it is to beat this very consuming addiction and disease and illness.
I think of all of this and
think about it each day
as much as time will allow
because right now,
only about two months down,
I know that I need to simply
"pile it one".
thanks Rainietoo,
always thinking and getting us
on the thinking recovery path too.
