Risk factors for pigment stones include cirrhosis, biliary tract infections, and hereditary blood cell disorders, such as sickle cell anemia. Stones of mixed origin also occur.

Day 1: You can eat a normal breakfast and a small lunch. After lunch, don't eat anything except for the things below.
*You can drink and eat either grapefruit juice and grapefruits, or orange juice and oranges, DO NOT mix them. Make sure that it is pure juice with no sugar added and not from concentrate. (Simply Orange, or Simply Grapefruit are good brands to look for) Be sure not to add sugar to your oranges or the grapefruit.
*3pm: Mix 2 teaspoons of Epsom salt into 1 ounce of warm water and drink.
*5pm: Mix 2 teaspoons of Epsom salt into 1 ounce of warm water and drink.
*Bedtime: Mix 1/2 cup of olive oil with 1/2 cup of your choice of juice and drink. Immediately lie down on your right side with your right knee up to your chest for at least 30 minutes.
***If you have gallbladder pain, don't panic, you can massage from right to left to help the stones pass.
*Morning: Mix 2 teaspoons of Epsom salt into 1 ounce of warm water and drink.
*1 hour later, you can resume a normal diet. Try to stick to things like toast and chicken noodle soup for the rest of the day.
***Most stones are usually green and will float due to the oil concentration in your bowel movements.
IF AT ANY TIME you start to vomit uncontrollably and the pain becomes too much despite massage, go to the ER immediately as this most likely means that a stone has gotten stuck. They will have to do something to help you at this point.
