Gallstones (choleliths) are crystalline bodies formed within the body by accretion or concretion of normal or abnormal bile components. Risk factors for pigment stones include cirrhosis, biliary tract infections, and hereditary blood cell disorders, such as sickle cell anemia. Stones of mixed origin also occur.
Ive suffred with lots of pain and discomfort in the upper right abdomen and center abdomen sharp pains after most meals. i have visted my doctor and was giving a belly exam and was told that i tested poistive for murphys sign and that could be a sign of gallstones
I'm also keeping track of which foods are triggers.
I had an ultrasound that revealed stones and sludge. You might want to do that to confirm.
I opted to keep my gallbladder and use the above methods. It's worked really well.
