Okay my GP doctor sent me to a gastro surgeon for my gallstones that were found on CT scan. Doctor told me it probably needs to be removed. Anyway seen the gastro surgeon yesterday and when he came in asked me what I was there for and then went on to talk about acid reflux he was very busy when I arrived he was in the middle of a seminor about lab band surgery for weight loss and had to wait until he got done with that also he was the only one there the other partner was not there, there were at least 10 patients waiting the nurse told me I was the first to be seen. He came into the room and questioned me about my symptoms and then told me to get in the gown so he could do an exam, he left the room and I could hear him in the next room talking to the other patient. He came back into the room and did an exam of my pelvic area and and listened to my heart and then told me to get dressed he then left the room. I could hear him in the other room again with the next patient he was consulting with the other patient he then came back into the room and told me I had significant acid reflux and we need to do a upper and lower GI along with a colonoscopy . I said okay but what about my gallstones he stated oh i did not know you had gallstones I told him that is what i'm hear for he said well are you having pain after eating, No I told him but lots of burning he told me well I did not feel any enlargement I then told him I also have an umblical hernia he said did you have a CT scan recently I told him yes that is why I'm hear they found the gallstones on the CT scan along with the umblical hernia and also diverticulosis he said well I did not feel any of those things. I'm really confused now. So now I being scheduled for all the other stuff but no Hida scan. This happened once before when seeing a different surgeon last year the surgeon acted like I was crazy for being there I left that office and called my reg doc at the time and they could not understand this so they called the place where I had an ultrasound where they found the gallstones I got a call the next day by my doctor saying oh you don't have gallstones at that point I found another doctor who sent me for a CT scan and that is when they found the gallstones again, along with the hernia and diver. So now it seems or it makes me feel like all these doctors are incompetent. Don't really know now I guess I will just go and get the series of stuff this new gastro surgeon wants but not really trusting in the process anymore, and just really confused.
