Things to Cheer Up About

I am feeling down. Tell me what there is in the world to cheer me up. Don't say family or friends (geographically close) because I have none. Be as nutty as you want to be.

Question: What in this world can cheer someone up?

Some answers: friends in this room; or dogs; or finishing the nightmare of tax return for the year; or buying a tomato plant. I've done all these things and I still need more cheering up.

So, WHAT IN THIS WORLD CAN CHEER SOMEONE UP?

That story will make many laugh.
Telling the embarrassing story. Always makes a smile develop. That's what I do with a large hold of embarrassing things like: I was twelve ,the size of a six year and they had just pulled my baby front teeth when it was time to enroll in middle school. Going into the 7th grade wearing size 6x that used belong to my younger sister. She is 4 years younger to me. I went to the registation table. The very kind older woman looked down at me and said" Honey,Kindergarten registration is next store and you need your mommy." Have a good laugh. I do now.

Ya, it is. Have you ever seen a furious 6 year old no one takes them seriously. That is what I must have looked like.But I have always a thick skin so the anger didn't last long. Shawn my best freind who was a foot taller than me started laughing and I just has to join in her laughter was contagious. By the time we got home,I was laughing when I told it to my mother who tells the story to sunday school class. Every Year.
Things that cheer me up:a smile from a small child.
