I always wanted to be able to paint pictures. I even took classes. Well it just did not work. I wanted to paint these great pictures. But I could not master it at all. So the local florist shop had a position open. I applied and got chosen.This was to be a temporary position for a month. She started me out by teaching me how to make arrangements. Now that I really took to. Loved it. Well the lady that I was filling in for came back from vacation. So my job ended. Then one day she called me to come and help out. I was so happy. This continued for some time. Long story short I ended up owning the store. Everyday I looked forward to going to work. Thats it. !!!

Love your post Yrod ~ I have always wanted to be a florist, but I had no idea that you actually had to go to school for it. It is wonderful that you are so happy with your work !

I really am not creative. I painted for awhile, but it is difficult when you have clinical severe depression. I do enjoy writing when I can.

That is amazing Yrod. Lovely story, I'm so glad you found your calling.

I love to paint old furniture . I'm not good at painting pictures, but enjoy painting old chairs, tables etc. I also do lots of crafts with my one granddaughter. The older one is my craft buddy, but the younger one shows no interest in these things.

    grill tonight with charcoal.....turned out good but had some stuff that I had to feed to Belle and Happy because it was grissley. it tasted pretty good and was a perfect mid rare....

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
