Actually, Social Security just raised the age of retirement from 62 to 67 forcing people to work LONGER rather than forcing retirement.

It is private companies especially large corporations who are requesting people to take early retirements and offering bonuses to those that do. Thereby hiring new employee at a much lower wage and half as many benefits and lower retirement packages.

It is more the Federal jobs that are calling for 'forced retirement' as they don't have the "buy-out dollars" that private corporations have. The Post Office, Hospitals, etc are examoles of that.

No, that is too young for retiring, unless you can afford to retire that early

I agree , I dont think anyone should be forced out of a job if they dont want to be.. I know a chap who works near here in a small petrol garage who is 90 , and he still works, rides a bike there to get back and forth too.Should be up to the individual . XXXXX

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
