Mine is a house with a library room filled with tons of books, A Wendys restaurant, an outdoor/indoor pool,

An old fashioned porch with a view of a lake filled with ducks.

A salt box design all opened, with all windows on the side facing the sun and a spiral staircase ascending to the loft where the bedrooms are and a full bathroom in between.

I saw plans for that years ago and I always wanted one but could never find a south facing lot to put it on.

A cabin built in the Gatineau Park. Facing the valley and the setting sun. Circular design, Loft for bedrooms and bathrooms. Lower level sunken livingroom with a circular pull out sofa that turns into a round bed, fireplace. Kitchen and powder room. Of course floor to ceiling windows. Around me nothing but nature.

Simple cabin in woods near a lake or the ocean. Two bedrooms, living and dining room combined. A loft that with another bed or futon and windows to look at tree tops. Nice bathroom with bath, shower. An indoor fireplace that heats the house. Maybe a woodstove too. Another small utility room with laundry, pet stuff, boots and a covered porch. Nice and well kept and functional but not lavish or anything. Another small bathroom with toilet and sink. Lots of books and warm blankets. Screened porch in back where I can grow some vegetables.

Annie, Same here. Away from stress. But I don't think the RCMP and the Gatineau Park will let me built it. I asked years ago and they said no. But the police and I had a good lunch together.

I actually love the house I’m in now. It was built in 1886, but has been remodeled. It has lovely large windows to the south. A nice large kitchen, and plenty of room throughout for guests to sleep over and for the 5 grandkids to play. The basement is not pleasant by any means, so I wish that was nice. We have a monster yard with not too many trees, which I like. I grew up on the prairie of Minnesota, so too many trees make me claustrophobic. We are renting now, but plans are on to purchase this year.

I love all these house plans! I'd love a simple cabin with a well stocked fishing pond near it. Lots of land with a pasture for the horses I'd have. A big front porch to watch the sunsets each day.

I would love a house right on the beach that also has a swimming pool, I love the ocean I want to be close to see it and listen to it but would like a pool to swim laps. I would also like a nice big porch with a beautiful view with that ocean and the sunrise. I’d also like a decent size bedroom and kitchen and a really nice laundry room, I don’t want too much, lol a guest bedroom and bathroom would be nice also, lol I would also like tons of books in my house to read while sitting on my porch listening to the ocean :-)

We would try to figure out how to have a single story with a sunken living room/conversation area, but the rest of the house the "upper" level. Ramps instead of steps for future wheelchair. Full deep eave-covered porch around the whole thing. But, house shaped like an E or a C, Master bed on one side, guest beds on the other. A true architect's nightmare for load-bearing walls........ Maybe some jut-outs in front for kitchen or office rooms. An "H" if looking from aerial. Basement would have stairway, but maybe an old fashioned dumbwaiter to transport smaller stuff from storage.

Yeah, I'm not complicated at all, lol.

Condo with a large outdoor deck that spans the main bedroom and living area overlooking water, either a lake, river, bay, etc.

That, or a stand alone home, something modern but warm, with lots of windows and a large outside living area.

Definetley a pool, preferably an outdoor one, lots of plants and greenery around, in a remote area, but not terribly far from shopping/stores so I can do errands.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
