My best friend from HS days hubby is dying. He wouldn't listen to the dr so wife motioned for Dr to SHUT UP. There's a really really really rare chance for this exprimental treatment, and not sure if it is doable or he can have it. At this point it is as it has always been in God's hands. I'm just asking you hold them both up in prayer.

Im so sorry about your friends husband please give her a hug for me and tell her my thoughts and prayers are with her dear husband and her .Maybe a miracle will happen and the experimental drugs will work .I have seen many prayers be answered in this group .

I am so sorry about your friend's husband, and that they have to go through all that. With so much more technology these days; you would think that
there could be something done. When you mentioned the experimental treatment; is that something the doctors want to do?! Please keep us posted, so we know how they are doing.
I will not only keep your friends in my thoughts & prayers, but I will keep you in them as well. You are a very dear friend to them, and it truly touches my heart that you would ask for your friend's to be prayed for.

I too have to say how sorry I am for your friend's husband and also what she will be going thru. My thoughts and prayers go out to them and their loved ones and also to you. I'm glad she has such a good friend during such a time.

BASICALLY THE EXPERIMENTAL TREATMENT is doable in certain cases but very rare & risky.

The basic procedure is "like an oil change." They will suck all his blood out, seperate, radiate the plasma, mix his blood back together and pump it back in. The theory is the blood cells go to all parts of the body and therefore, may reach the lungs rejection sites and heal/stop the rejection

All my dear peeps who answered and are praying:

Treatment is NOT possible. He has given up and not even trying. Living as if already dead. Sleeping alot. Wife HAS NOT GIVEN UP and keeps trying to motivate. However, as I told her, none of this is her responsibility. If he has accepted death as his sentence, she can't change that, only God can. However, I know how frustrated I am with him (want to snatch him bald and tell him to quite whining and FIGHT!) and she is so frustrated.

I know the odds are against him but none of us can be sure we will be alive in the next 5 minutes so why not do as the song says and LIVE LIKE YOU WERE DYING? Go full tilt, whoo-hooing, kicking it up and making loads of memories for the loved ones who will be left behind. THEY NEED THOSE HAPPY MOMENTS TO REMEMBER TO GET THRU THE GRIEF!
