Friends til the end Community Group
A group for those of us here who get more from our friendships than from the available discussion groups. A place to be accepted and appreciated for who we are. Somewhere to always feel safe and know that especially on the bad days we are here for each other .A place for encouragement and love.

I never was a kid who had an aspiration to be anything. . Seriously an adult would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I was like, how the hell should I know?

My thoughts on what to be when I grew up changed almost daily when I was a kid, though most of those ideas landed in the human services sector, which is basically what every job I actually ever held fell in even though not one of them was a career path I thought I'd take when I was a kid. Go figure.

When I was five, I wanted to be a doctor, and nothing has changed since then. This is my third year studying to be a surgeon :)

I always wanted to be a phlebotomist. At school, I loved biology and anatomy and decided to help people. At first, I also wanted to be a surgeon, but I realized that this is not my thing. And there are very few good specialists in the field of phlebotomy, and they are very difficult to find. Phlebotomy is actually not as easy as it seems, it is important to be able to find a vein, get into it very carefully, and not damage it, since even very good veins can be spoiled by the inability of medical workers to correctly insert the needle. I took a course on an excellent program, information about the training can be found on this site https://www.exploremedicalcareers.com/healthcare-administration/.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonÂ
