A group for those of us here who get more from our friendships than from the available discussion groups. A place to be accepted and appreciated for who we are. Somewhere to always feel safe and know that especially on the bad days we are here for each other .A place for encouragement and love.

maxdugan....I used to feel like that about my life too .... until I learned the phrase "doing the best I could at the time" which is more times than not true....later with the knowledge that the regret, was not intentional, then turned into one of those icky learning lessons to try and not repeat again...((hugs)) gentle with yourself is Huge and forgiveness is even "Hugggerrrr" :)

Don't know Brooke, this has been a real emotional tug of war between my heart and brain with John...daily it is a struggle to figure out 'being Mom to son, or being Mom to a young adult', and where to fit my frustrations with what can be done as a parent, what to accept as a parent and how to make healthy choices in all aspects of life...just So Many Questions!
