I work 7:30-2 pm. Probably should drive to cemetery to tell Mom all about this house she gave me!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's!

I am driving to my hometown and spending it with my daughter. We probably won' do much but we will be together.

It will be just me and my youngest son at the house, will probably just watch movies and he'll order food for dinner since he doesn't cook, lol
If I drove I would visit my mom's grave but can't get there and my oldest son lives in MD so won't see him and when he sent my Bday gift last week he also sent my Mother;s day gift but maybe he'll at least call.

My Daughter will come over in the morning. My friend Ray will come in the afternoon. He's bringing dinner. I'll stay close to home for phone calls.
It's supposed to rain.
My Mom is buried up north, but I will be thinking of her and what a wonderful lady she was. She had a great sense of humor, She was witty, She had many little sayings and i remember all of them. She raised six children (I'm the youngest) She adored my Dad. She was Irish but she cooked special Italian dishes just for him that she learned from his Mom. She passed away when she was 64. I was just 23 at the time. She did get to see and enjoy my first two children.

I sent her flowers (I live 1,000 miles away) and I'm working on a family trip for her and my sisters in June. I'm going to surprise her tomorrow.

Spending it just thinking about my mom and memories.

My mom was sweet as honey on the outside but stung like a bee when she got mad. She was a little Irish lady. She was precious and I treasure her memory. She passed away in 1999 at age 93.

I will be staying home. Mike is going to the ranch as he thinks it is the safest place around. He said the best Mother's day gift would be for him to leave. Ha! Ha! So true.

He did go and buy these down sprout rain catchers that I have been asking for.

My daughter invited us to dinner but there are just too many kids and family that may be there. I don't know where those folks have been. lol I am still gearing up for my grandson's b-day. No way of getting out of that one.

Biker, I so hear what you are saying. My mom is 93 now and she has never held back an opinion...good or bad. I think she is pissed because the casinos are not open.

I can't go for a visit because we would be quarantine for 14 days. And that would never work. Ha.

My husband brought home flowers for me today. My son has asked me what I wanted for dinner, he and his girlfriend will cook for me. My daughter will call I’m sure. I won’t be able to spend time with my mom as we still have restrictions her but I will drop a card off to her and then call and chat with her.

My daughter got me flowers, a card, and she just left to pick up some delicious Greek take out food!! Yuummmm....
