Lesa spoke with him on Sunday, and he was in good spirits going into the surgery, and that is huge in a case like Genes. When she hears again she will let us know stat even during treatment. She called here briefly last evening and hadn't heard up to that time.
She did have an allergic reaction to the IVIG yesterday (this can happen unavoidably because it is a human blood product, requiring dozens of donors for each days infusion!) Todays went well, so lets pray that the last infusion goes well tomorrow!!

Some of us have gotten cards off to Gene, and it would be so good if a steady stream trickled in during his recovery period (broad HINT!!!)

Out of the Hospital, big surgery, stitches like a stuffed turkey, and into last year's hellhole rehab/rearhub facility.I am VERY blue to the point of wanting to vaporize [just stop] breathing. OT/PT EVERYDAY has me wanting a better existence, a new world w/happier circumstances. Pity Party. but I mean it, y'all. Too much time between getting up/down G.
