Friends til the end Community Group
A group for those of us here who get more from our friendships than from the available discussion groups. A place to be accepted and appreciated for who we are. Somewhere to always feel safe and know that especially on the bad days we are here for each other .A place for encouragement and love.

my other grandfather I really only remember one Christmas and no idea what year anything really about it but it was where i remember my Mom's Mom who had mental health issues.....it is the only time I remember her was upstairs in their flat that we went to Christmas and I do not remember much more of that one than we were on a street I still know and we went up to second floor apartment....
we also had Christmas after those days stopped due to death of one grandparent on each side where we went to the local other family house to celebrate too....and we also hosted on Christmas eve at our house too.....
When I bought this house I moved in the day before Christmas eve and hosted the family here for Christmas that year with boxes everywhere and I purchased dinner from Panera where I delivered that year 2019 for everyone to have some food for dinner......we actually had 7 of us here with everything that the movers had brought in and left everywhere in the house.....also I had been moving things in my Mustang convertible and at times looked like the Beverly HILLBILLY TRUCK that Jethro drove with all the stuff tied onto the Mustang with top down hanging out everywhere.....LOL
thanks Kim for asking us to remember what we once had as a very fun portion of our lives Christmas is supposed to be fun.....
We woke up on Christmas day to snow!!! It snows here about every 20 years if we are lucky. Depending what you would call "lucky". :-)
I took a picture and framed it. I look at it everyday.
And Carly, you are right. Waking up to a coating of snow does really say Christmas. Now I can happily say BRING ON THE SNOW. I have 2 days left to work then I will be able to safely watch from my windows.
