I'm not eligible yet but both my parents are; my mom's been trying to get an appointment since they were made eligible but so far no luck.

The whole thing is a mess here in NY - they seem to be opening new sites to get it and yet there aren't enough doses to even give out; it's next to impossible to sign up for an appointment and the few people that seem to manage it have to book appointments in cities or towns that are several hours from where they live and no one can seem to get an appointment scheduled any earlier than April right now for some reason - which really doesn't bode well for getting people vaccinated in my state, if you ask me. They've opened up the eligibility a bit but don't have any more vaccines to cover the additional people they opened it to. And it seems like there are people who are managing to jump the line so to speak (like a friend of my mom's shared online that her two daughters who are in their late 30's- early 40's both got vaccinated already but neither is an essential worker on the list so how they qualified for it I don't know). I want to get the shot, but at this rate who knows when that will be...

No. I am a little nervous to get one. My husband will receive one in about a month.

Yes. I got my first dose of the Moderna. I had a achy arm for a day and tired on and off. My husband and sister have both received first and second doses of Pfizer and they both had no symptoms except a little fatigue for my sister. We are all healthcare workers in the hospital.

No I understand I should be having my vaccine mid February but my mother and step dad both had both jabs and both keeping well and safe but it hurts we haven't seen them for months now only talking on the phone.

My brother and his wife got theirs (she’s a nurse and he’s a firefighter/paramedic). They both said the second vaccine caused more soreness than the first but both said it was similar to getting a flu shot in terms soreness, fatigue, etc.

I live in the city where it’s densely populated and that has had the most cases in the state, so that is factoring into my decision to get one. Lot of people living in close quarters. I’m hoping if enough people vaccinate that will make for fewer people getting it and spreading it. No idea if that will happen but I’m hopeful, because how we are living now is becoming more and more unacceptable to me.
