You have to listen to this story. On regular blood work one of my enzymes went above normal. This enzyme indicates a problem with the liver, brain or bone. Since my numbers on the liver was good, my Dr. assumed it was bone and had the enzyme divided and it came up bone. I had a nuclear bone scan which highlighted my left shoulder and lower back. This test only indicates Paget's Disease or cancer. Paget's Disease was eliminated and cancer was the only thing left. My Dr sent me for more tests to confirm this and guess what - no malignancies showed up. Took more tests this morning and again no cancer. The first test was just plain wrong. It drove me crazy for nothing, I was out of my mind. All it showed was arthritis.

So guys, stay here for all of us who need or will need you,

P.S. Even though this ended up a false alarm, all your suggestions and inputs are very much valued and important to me. Thanks again.

P.P.S. For those of you who sent me hugs, you have no idea how much they meant to me. Its sooooogooooo good to know I have so many online friends.

You see, if the results WERE positive, I would have been stage 4 because an older woman never gets primary bone cancer. Its spread from another area.

I've learned something from all this, The only thing in life that matters is good (or at least decent) health. Everything else has no meaning. I have learned to take one day at a time and try not to complain. For more than a week my brain was concentrating on pain and death and I didnt even have the desire to water my plants.

Well, since I've retired I havent gone to a casino. But now I cant wait to go.

******Awesome*****Amazing***** Great****Wonderful**** fantastic****Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious***** WOW**** You just made my day I can't see thru my tears bestest news I've heard in along time Awesome Family here will keep praying it stays good news - normally all I hear for me is nothing wrong & when I got my 3rd MRI back this time they found a mass on my brain & I was all over the place I was like I tired to tell everyone for over 9 years I wasn't faking this headache & now all they want to do is wait 2 see if it explodes & on new meds that r making me more loopier than ever & have to up them next week oh what am I going 2 been like then & then the 3rd one gets added following week LOLOLOLOLOL Angel will really be flyin high above the clouds & before I even started them I have lost a whole nite I can't piece together yet people keep telling me things & I called someone at 1 am & do not remember & other things I did in my house I see I can't put together very scary this has never happened to me at all. I just learn to appreciate all the little things in life as u only got one live 2 live & stop & smell the roses & oh they smell oh so good***** Best news I've heard & so very happy for u****Luv u***

Angel - this is awful but if you had symptoms for 9 years, I assume this is not a malignancy. Perhaps a new doctor or hospital will have a different perspective on this. Have you gotten 2nd and 3rd opinions ?
