A THANKFUL 8 YEAR OLD

After we all stuffed ourselves and could not move or find room yet for dessert, my 8 yr old was coaxed by his mom to read his Thanksgiving letter he did in school.   He mentioned several times about being thankful for family, sports, and his ability to do sports, also a roof over his head and many things others may not have. 


We all found it especially cute when he mentioned at one point he was especially thankful for all of his family because we are crazy  (I believe we taught him well. LOL)  And at the end when he mentioned his house because that's where he could eat his french fries and chicken nuggets.  


Family, home and sports... what more could a guy need.

Pretty complete list from the young lad. That is what a young fellow says when he has love and respect---and he loves the eccentricities that make his people interesting without any aim to demean anyone. How could an aunt not be speaking of this lad with her smile in view even limited by what we can see from remote internet sites? Glad that you had time with your young fellow, and have more aunt/nephew time to be thinkin of.

Ouilliam, I do believe we are still a few months away from the big sister and other little girls losing their cootie status. LOL

So Bill, no girlfriend yet.

Now his 15 year old sister is another story. To her boys have long since surpassed that cootie stage and considering she is gorgeous and like so many girls these days could easily pass for much older. The agreement is both grandfathers meet any potential boyfriends and are quick to let them know they carry guns. Mom and Dad are building a secure room to lock her away til she's 25. LOL

What a sweet story the importance of home, family and sports. And of course chicken nuggets with fries over girls. Hahaha

Best of luck with the teenage girl, don't wish those years on anyone.
