It wouldn't 'take' when I tried to use it here!

A few years ago I made my New Years resolution to find joy in every day of my life. Some days I forgot to do this. Some days I put little effort into it. Why was it just so hard to find joy in my life? It took me awhile to learn about joy. Finally I realized that the joy I was trying to find each day was here all along. It was in me. It is and can be in many ways or things. Finding my favorite pen to write a letter with. Getting the laundry done and put away. Seeing my Man come home. Many ways to find joy in your life. My joy looks just like me. It has to.

Up to now my Joy today has been received in helping an elderly neighbor and listening to her wisdom regarding life and where we are with things today as opposed to when she was a young person. After
watching Carol's video I realize the joy is inside me and can be found in everything. Happy Thanksgiving Carol. Thank you for sharing your Joy in the video....you have passed the Joy along to me and brightened my day!

Ah........passing it on is what keeps it vital, thanx back to U too.

Some of today's joy is that Susan made it through surgery, and is looking good. Having a warm home brings joy, being woke up with wet puppy kisses at 5:00 a.m. was pretty good too. LOL

SO FAR TODAY, THE ONLY THING THAT I HAVE FOUND JOY IN IS THE FACT THAT I WAS NOT AWAKENED DURING THE NIGHT WITH A PANIC ATTACK. THAT MAY NOT SOUND LIKE MUCH, BUT FOR ME IT'S HUGE! OTHERWISE - A QUIET, WORK FILLED, TOTALLY AVERAGE DAY. AND I GUESS THAT IN ITSELF, IS A BLESSING.

There was a time when I was fearful of admitting to more than a smattering of Joy here and there............ And you know I think I've almost figured out why that was?
