" What's There To Do In Your Hometown " ?

Not much! They used to close the town down at 8 PM. There is a lake there though. Here in my present city there's tons of stuff to do. As a kid we used to come to my present city on weekends because of all the shopping and restaurants here.

Not much,Barb! Sit around & watch the cars rust- LOL

Have to drive about 30 miles in any direction in order to find things to do,such as shopping, movies, & such.

My town used to be like above, NOTHING, but new people have moved in, has more to do, festivals, movies, city stuff. Bands, concerts, mall!

My old hometown was quiet , very much so, now is a ski resort town so it has more to do, also summer festivals too.

Both the above are close to mountains, fishing, water sports, hiking, camping.

Small towns are that way, sometimes boring and everybody knows who you are so nothing gets by anybody!
Least you have that lake chesty, and Lesa, you are in new place, Pam , you deserve a vacation! To a fun filed action spot! : )

Yep Julie! It all closed at 8 PM. The city I'm in now has many restaurants downtown. They have so many things going on all the time. Movies by the river and Shakespeare in the Park and all these festivals.

Richard, I spent a lot of time on that lake! Back in my high school days we cruised the State Park on weekends. We rode around and around and.......

Depending upon traffic and/or the time of day, the City can be 5min to 2 hours away! Immediately, there are restaurants and bars until 2am But except for the Casino everything else shuts down at 2am but there are all sorts of things to do..

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
