In many ways yes, because I spent large blocks of time w my beloved Grandma, copied her ways of thinking and acting much more than my parents!
On the other hand I love to play with the latest technology, my newest 'toy' being an iPad2, so go figure!!

I know I ramble in my answers, but it is a fun way to get to know each other better and hope others will do the same if they are comfortable with it!!

I am old fashioned,,and have had trouble with new technology, I did not get my first computer until I was in my late 40's.
I try to keep up, and am still learning about computers, and all.
My family thinks I am hilarious, they call me old fashioned too. My folks, and my daughter, and brother ALL know the computer much better than I do, they are "with it"! I feel left out sometimes,,feel like going back to simpler times, sometimes,,BUT I would not want to do without the modern conveniences we have now.

Yes I really, really, am in so very many way. I am 53 and just got my first computer, and have to force myself to use it. However so much more than technology I miss the simpler times, despite what some may assume about me I am actually a very old fashioned girl. I do appreciate the medical advances very much. The very basic values that my father and grandfather taught me seem to have gone out with the big old luxury vehicles that I also adore.

I do love those old fashioned values! I'm having to learn as I go with all this new technology and get frustrated when I can't figure it out. I grew up on a big farm. We grew most of the food we ate and had chickens and cows for the eggs and milk. Very simple times! I'd love to be able to live that way now.
