Beneath the willow tree is where I hide my soul. Buried deep in It's rich soil. To hide there is to be at total peace with myself. But many days I fear my soul will be lost there. Not wanting to return to my shattered humanly shell. I fear it wants to stay gone, hidden from the tribulations of this world. It is hiding from me even now as I walk down the path of my life. One day I will return to my scarad hide away and regain my soul once more.
Interesting concept - burying ones soul. I like it very much. However, without the tribulations we wouldn't appreciate the great times as much.
Without black we wouldn't need white. :)
Ooohh I love this. I wrote a poem just like this years ago during a Uni course. It's like, even though the ground can be suffocating, it is safe in its own way, it's a safe place to hide away your soul so it won't keep gettting hurt.
But the soul won't see the sunlight if it stays underground. The exciting (and terrifying) part is that your soul can burst anew from under the soil. But for me and maybe for you, I have to re-emerge gradually and slowly and actually in tune with Nature's Time - rather than my time. If I burst up anew too quickly, I can cause more damage to myself that what I can gain. Nature's Time.
