Ok so me and hubby have been together almost 18 years. we have 4 kiddos together. 2 (teen, twin boys) 1 (6 yr old f) , and 1 ( 2 yr old f). Our baby girl was our fist placement that turned into adoption. in the middle of that her sister was no longer able to stay where she had been placed. she was in the middle of being adopted her self before they backed out. I love all my kids to pieces. i will do what ever they need to ensure they are happy/ healthy etc. The 6 year old has alot of mental issues. She was abused and then just not alot of time put into her after she was in the system. So we have had to start over with her. She has mental issues, behavior issues, food issues etc. We are about to have her diagnosed with prader willi. She steals food at any chance she can. We have to lock fridge, cabinets, my purse (with candy in it, i'm diabetic) the diaper bag with snacks for angel baby and are other placement). She got kicked out of school for a long time. we were called to pick her up about 2-3 (if we were lucky) b/c of numerous issues she was calling. she has therapist, and takes a few different meds. she has been diagnosed with defiant behavioral sydrome. She lies all the time, we have cameras installed so we can watch her at all times. she can't be left alone to do anything. she is now homeschooled b/c they won't let her back in. I am at my wits end on what else i can do to help her. i am not giving up on my girl, but man i really hate the morning (when she wakes) most days. i am her mother there for i won't quit on her. but dang what gives?? she is compulisive, manipulative, its just irriatating to have to have her up my bum every hour of every day. Any one have ideas? i mean how many times can a kid have to sit in the time out chair or go to bed before they get it. we have the rules wrote out, she can read them. she will tell you she understands but obviously it isn't clicking. we are having her iq tested in the next wee bit.
anyone have ideas? suggestons? guesses? i am at wits end here.
