Foster Care Support Group
Foster care is a system by which a certified, stand-in parent(s) cares for minor children or young peoples who have been removed from their birth parents or other custodial adults by state authority. Responsibility for the young person is assumed by the relevant governmental authority and a placement with another family found.
Biologically speaking, there are several ways HPV can be transmitted to children. The first being sexual contact. perinatal, autoinoculation, and fromites. Although not all are fully proven, there are casee studies sufficient enough to support the statement.
Autoinoculation is the most questioned of the ways since the HPV virus itself has so many genotypes. Different genotypes are found in each form of the "sexually transmitted" viruses. So the concept of a fever blister turning into genital warts seems inconceivable. However, it is only one genotype away from the other.
Fromites are a larger possibility considering bacterial contamination. Where a child may not show signs of sexual trauma physically, that would not necessarily mean that no sexual abuse had occured. Child witnesses act. Later, child climbs up in mom's bed and mimics act she recognized (assume there are "items" included) Hence...........bacterial contamination.
I hope that helped a little. And I pray that the problem does not exist due to sexual abuse.
