I'm just a fountain of knowledge aren't I. But I don't handle hypocraisy well. I just don't. The whole do as I say, not as I do never did much for me as a child, but it does even less for me now. I have a hard time watching people lie to me and then lie to themselves about lying to me. I'd rather they lie to me then to themselves. Is that strange? I know, I know, they're challenges. But someone tell me what the HELL am I supposd to do with them? I could try to be reasonable with this person, but so far that hasn't worked. She's convinced I don't "know the whole story" and if I did I'd see her point of view. Maybe sometimes all there is left is to walk away? Maybe there is no way to reach compromise and understanding with someone who's in hiding from themselves?

I'm so sorry you are going through this. It sounds like this person is in denial. There's not a whole lot you can do with that. I think walking away is a good plan. Why continue to expose yourself to that? I hope it all works out soon. I wish I had an answer for you.

Thank you. I did finally say enough today. The woman has control issues that are well documented, LOL. I just always thought I could overlook that and focus on other aspects of the relationship; but someone with those kind of control issues is hard for me to manage. I thought back when we first met that everyone exaggerated her issue, and she really wasn't all that bad; but she is.

I should have followed my first instincts a couple years ago and avoided her but I was into trying to be "nice" back then. I got tired of being called a bitch so I spent a few years trying to be nicer to everyone and mature and rise above everything. But I think perhaps it was never me at all.
