I went back to the "Rules of the Road", a thread posted by the founder LMT prior to the start of the current season.

The third paragraph within the thread stated " ties will not count one way or another" further states "Points are given for wins".

Additionally under the Bonus Game Rule it states " If you got that game right you will get an extra point",

Therefore since ties
1. Will not count
2, points are given for wins
3.extra point (Bonus)is offered upon getting the game right

No point's will be issued under the circumstances of a tie it being a bonus game or not.

While I respect the decision, can I just say, it's slightly unfair to anyone who actually took the time to make a pick given how no one is going to actually predict a tie and by picking one team or the other you were at least half right, which is more than what someone who didn't pick at all on that particular game did. Why not a half point for anyone who did put in a prediction for a game that ended in a tie? That way there's still some incentive to have put in your predictions for all the games. It just feels like the only people who benefit from the current system are the people who forgot to put their picks in on time because they're now not behind by a couple more points...

Basically, I'm scrounging for any additional points I can get here - two weeks in and I'm not faring well, so I need all the help I can get! (And I bet there are others here feeling the same way too!)

Two ties & both were my bonus picks. Please at least 1/2 for the tie & 1/2 point for the bonus? Only last weeks tie was my bonus pick.

I don't think I seen a Tie last Season 2017.

Cedarbrooke - no NFL game ended in a tie in 2017. The last one occurred October 30, 2016. That game took place in London.

Also there is an old adage in sports about a tie. "It is like kissing your sister."

In addition, there is a lot of talk now about the NFL changing to the college overtime rules where they start at the 25 yard line & play an untimed game until there is a winner.

New England was my bonus pick so don’t feel bad. I’m not even a fan of the Pats but damn how did they lose to the Jags. Weren’t they calling for Bortles head last year.
