No... I think your defense sucked... :P and you are the only one who took the Chiefs! You and your reverse psychology didn't win y'all the game, but it got you the only win in the group Thursday night!

Goody Goofy Goodell had nothing to do with the game... injuries did. And a piss poor defense. But I will never give up on the Patriots. Belichick will fix it.

I watched them all preseason and I knew that no amount of brady could overcome such a sucky defense! They traded cornerback coleman for a receiver who I think didn't catch a pass in the game! They let ryan go and they signed that guy from the bills who was a mediocre corner at best, the guy he was guarding ran all over him and scored at least one touchdown I can remember.....I picked the pats because I absolutely knew they would lose based on their sucky defense! Maybe they will get it figured out...they did in the past so I dunno. I hope they do. I hope they all show up for the next game.

I think I jinxed them... I generally care about football but I can tell you one thing - I dislike Tom Brady and the Pats (to me they're like the Yankees, and I hate the Yankees) but I picked them because I figured, seemingly like everyone else except Bob who knew better, that the Pats being the Pats tend to just find ways to win (I mean, the cheating could be the difference maker, but who's to say). If I picked the Chiefs then I bet the Pats would've won instead. I just have that sort of luck (seriously, I mean, baseball's not the same thing but I root for the Mets and look at how poor they turned out this year... like most years, really... but if that's any indication, then everyone may want to chose the opposite teams I've picked).

It's the first game. I don't put anything past Belicheck, good or bad, soooo.... He could have been working kinks out of a new system, etc., and got his reality severely checked. Dunno. But I do know that I wanted to pick KC and didn't, on the theory if I picked them, the Pats would ruin my day as usual. *sigh* (Steelers fan.)

You remember 2014 when the chiefs humiliated the patriots and then look what happen since then....2 super bowls! So I think the same will happen again. Once you humiliate brady and the patriots, they answer back by playing the way they are capable of playing. I think the same will happen this year as well. Belicheck will get it out of them somehow, he just hasn't figured out how yet but he will. It may take a few more games, maybe another loss or two to get up to speed. The only thing that will hold them back is more injuries.
