Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...
A small goal I set for my self is drinking enough water throughout the day. eating 3 meals, and a snack (if I need it). and walking 3x a week minimum. even if the walk is just around the block.
I have been battling binge eating for as long as I can remember (along with other issues with food) but since I started attending Overeaters Anonymous I have definitely learned how to cope better and to better myself overall. I cant recommend it enough to anyone battling food issues of any kind!
good luck on your goals, and reach out if you ever want/need to talk or just vent without response.
