Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...
You certainly don't sound like you've had the easiest ride in life, but I'm happy that you have a faith and that it seems to be serving you well. I often feel that those with the most advice are those who least understand what you're actually going through. I admire those with the self-control I don't have, but I don't appreciate it when they can't step in my shoes and appreciate what I'm battling with.
So far, I've had a good week. I've cut down my food intake and I've got some exercise. It's a couple of small steps, but that's where we have to start. And it's only a week. I've done "only a week" on many occasions. This time, I'm hopeful that I get a little further. And that's my aim. Each day, just to get a little further (or just a little better).
Welcome and take care...
