Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...
The specific path to fixing this differs for everyone. But a life in which you can enjoy good things in moderation is absolutely possible.
You may benefit from professional counseling, and I'm not that person, I'm just an ordinary person who has battled this and found a path forward. But you may want to ask yourself what the underlying need is in your life that food is filling for you. Getting to the root of that question is often a turning point for recovery.
Welcome, and post often and let us know how you're doing. Being accountable, even just to 'imaginary internet friends', can really be helpful.
